Looking for Bailey's from the Woolwich area in the mid 1800s, my GGGrandmother was Elizabeth Sarah Bailey born C1845 she married Edwin Harry Goldsby in Marylebone, they had children Agnes Bertha (born & baptized in Woolwich 1869) Edwin Harry jnr 1870, Beatrice 1872 and Amelia 1875. (The girls names are not from the Goldsby side of the family so maybe they are 'Bailey' names??) Elizabeth sewed shirts for the Victorian royal family (so I've been told) she died aged 35 yrs 1881 and her husband remarried. If anyone can fit her into their Bailey family tree from the Woolwich area I would love to hear from you Sue Vincent |
