Dear Susan

I know its been some time since you wrote your 'trying to find' and I hope I can help you.

I too have an ElizabethSarah Bailey born around the same time as yours. Elizabeth parents names were Henry Bailey and Mary Hodges.

If the parents of your Elizabeth match my Elizabeth there could be a strong possibility we are related.

All the childrens names you mentioned have a strong connection with my Bailey family. Unfortunately I do not know Elizabeths husband's name.

I will be leaving GR on 23rd September 2007, but you can e-mail me on my personal address

[email protected]

or hopefully find me on the Ancestry site.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Tralena

Looking for Bailey's from the Woolwich area in the mid 1800s, my GGGrandmother was Elizabeth Sarah Bailey born C1845 she married Edwin Harry Goldsby in Marylebone, they had children Agnes Bertha (born & baptized in Woolwich 1869) Edwin Harry jnr 1870, Beatrice 1872 and Amelia 1875. (The girls names are not from the Goldsby side of the family so maybe they are 'Bailey' names??) Elizabeth sewed shirts for the Victorian royal family (so I've been told) she died aged 35 yrs 1881 and her husband remarried. If anyone can fit her into their Bailey family tree from the Woolwich area I would love to hear from you Sue Vincent
