JAMES THOMAS WHITE ( KNOWN AS 'CHALKIE WHITE' ) HACKNEY/HOXTON/SHOREDITCH AREA. BORN CIRCA 1884 this is my grandad, and i know now that he married mary ann lavery ( known as nancy ), in bethnal green, in 1910. my nan' was his mistress, and my aunt and uncle would love to know if they have any half-brothers or sisters, or nieces and nephews out there. i an trying to research the family history so would like to hear from anyone with info'. james thomas white was officially a cabinet-maker, but was also a bookie' ( illegal back then ), and mary laverys' family were greengrocers. thank you. |
