Member Since: December 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to find information about my great-grandfather GEORGE HENRY WHITE, possibly known as JOE. He was born around 1888 probably in Hackney, London and walked out on my grandad's 12th or 13th birthday (around 1925) saying he was going to get him a present. He completely disappeared, although there is a rumour in the family that he went to Ireland after meeting a girl whilst stationed there during WW1. If anyone can help, I'd be extremely grateful. We think his father's name was James and they were metalworkers.
