He was born in Manchester around 1930 to William and May Garside, he had one brother and four sisters. ONE OF HIS SISTERS WAS CALLED GLADYS AND MARRRIED 'WHITE'. I KNOW SHE HAD A SON WHOM WAS A PC IN MANCHESTER. If anyone has any information that could help me I would be very grateful.
