Hi everyone

I would just like to say thank you all so very much for all your help. I am Suzanne, Jaqueline's sister. Yes, it was my sister that posted the original post. We are delighted that we have made contact.

Once again, thank you all so much.

As Mike says Carol.

Sometimes we send stuff by pm because it may be sensitive in some way like the person of interest probably still being alive.

You might not be aware but these threads will come up on a Google. Anything that might cause offence in some way as well as personal stuff, we try to keep private by pm. They do not show up.

Fingers crossed for you.

I don't use facebook, I'm just getting to grips with this site!! For example - I don't know what a PM is- sad isn't it? Anyway I found the Nansa site, sent an email but as yet no reply. Giving my husband the phone number you mentioned Jill, and he will see what he can find out.

I may have found a child of the marriage on here. She is on two trees so that is also worth looking at.

Again if your membership doesn't allow for you to get the info, just send me a pm.

Hi Carol,

You are very welcome. Thank you for saying thank you. Some people we help on here don't bother so it's always nice when someone does.

I did try to see if I could contact a Jacqueline who showed up on Linkedin which I am sure I am signed up to but it would not allow me to send her a message.

I think Facebook is a good idea though. I don't use it so didn't think about it.

I've just found this

http://www.nansa.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/FIND-NEWS-Jan-edition-2012.pdf

Go down to the Forthcoming Events page which has 'Fancy a skydive?' as the first entry. The next is the 'Bungay Black Dog Half Marathon' entry.

A Jacqueline Ronsdorf is mentioned there along with a mobile number for her. The man named as her 'partner' is not the same as that for the marriage entry but you never know.

Please would you let us know if you have any luck.

xJill

This has been my first time on this site and I am surprised and grateful to each of you for your help. I have found a workplace for Jacqueline
Ronsdorf and am now waiting to hear, fingers crossed. Once again, thankyou.

you could also try facebook

I have found Jacqueline's marriage on GR. She was in Tameside about twenty years ago and may still have ties there.

Can I suggest a search on Directory Enquiries for the surname and maybe go as far as getting some credits for 192.

Short of that, I know several of my local libraries used to have telephone directories for all UK once upon a time. It may be that some still do. You could try all the Ronsdorfs in the UK. I get the impression that there are not many.

PM me if you need the marriage details from here.

Good Hunting.

Given that the message is dated 2003 and the member has NIL posts then unlikely they are still a member of this site

You could try and send a message and if they still have the same email addy after all these years they will get notification

Think my husband, Andrew, is the half brother you were searching for years ago. Would love to have contact whenever, if ever, you get this message. Carol Mould.

I am hoping to find my half brother whom I've never met. Andrew Mould was born in Withington, Manchester on the 27.01.1961. Birth father is John but known as Jack Knight and came from the Ancoats/Miles Platting area of Manchester. His mother's name is Patricia. I believe he is responsible for the discovery of the Londow Man in Lindow Moss in 1883/84. The latest information I have is that he was living in the Runcorn area near Liverpool.I would love to get intouch and will be most grateful for any information. Jacqueline Ronsdorf nee Knight
