Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	My maternal grandmother - Elizabeth Forde - was born in Auckland, NZ, in 1861. Her father, Jeremiah, was born in Cork in 1835, and joined the British Army when he was 17. Another son, John Jeremiah (1861) was placed in London in the 1901 Census. William Forde(1869) was born while Jeeremiah was posted in Dublin. Jeremiah retired to Colyton, Devon, - where William was placed in the 1901 Census. I would welcome any news of any descendants.
