George Frederick PHILLIPS age 27, of 87 Cavendish Street Ipswich, married May Violet GARROD, age 24 of 38 Surrey Road, Ipswich, on 20th. September 1924 at St. Bartholomew's Church, Ipswich, Suffolk, England. At this point I do not know if they had any family. George's father was Frederick James PHILLIPS. Frederick ran a Furniture Dealer's business in Walton, Felixstowe, Suffolk. Frederick died in 1941. I have his will and he left most of his estate to his only son George. From city directories I know that Frederick's son George moved to Felixstowe after his father's death and is listed in the directories up until 1965. He lived at 53 Dales Way Felixstowe. I would love to hear from any descendants or from anyone else who is researching this family. Happy Hunting everyone. Jean Palmer. |
