William Bedder was born in Prescott, Liverpool around 1890. He moved with his family to Coventry as a teenager (I think) and worked in the watch-making trade. He met and married my grandmother (Sarah Smith)around 1913. He was in the Royal Marines during the First World War. They had three children, William, Frances and Dorothy (my mother) They lived in George Street and Stanton Street, Coventry, and he worked for Courtaulds after the War until his death around 1953. I am trying to trace any Bedder relatives. Pauline Edwards. |
