I am trying to trace ancestors from the Reading area of Berkshire, England. My ancestors being Harmans. My G.G.G. Grandparents were William and Mary (nee ?)Harman and they sailed to Australia and arrived in 1855, or thereabouts. William was aged 65 when he made the voyage. There children were William, Thomas, Joseph, Frederick John, George, Charles, Jeany, Hannah, Henry Richard, John, Martha, Harriett and Henry. As far as I know the only children who made it to Australia were William, Thomas, Joseph, Frederick John, and John. The others may have died or had married and remained in England. I would love to hear from anyone who may have an interest or who can help me with further information. |
