My Great Grandmother was born Catherine Christie in Stornoway approx. 1857 to a John Christie and a Mary McKenzie. Her father was born 1819 at Blair Atholl, Perthshire, and her mother in Stornoway in 1821. Her mothers parents were Donald McKenzie and Anne McKay. Although I never met her, she has always held a fascination for me and I would love to learn more of her history. Anybody have any knowledge of any of the family, it would be useful to add to the tree. Oh yes my great grandmother married a Thomas Inglis at the age of 56 (spinster with a son!) She also had 5 brothers and sister that I know about a John Christie 12/1/59 Donald Christie 26/8/1861 James christie 14/5/1864 William/Alexander Christie Marylin Christie Much gratefulness for any futher info.
