Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hi I am trying to find any scraps of info regarding a Joseph William Shepherd, born around about 1860-70 ish and any descendants ha may have had. probably born in the Manchester area, He was married to my Gt.Grandfathers sister Elizabeth Studholme in 1891 in Prestwich and as far as I know was a boot and shoemaker. I am trying to determine if there were any children, I think there was at least one son:- Norman I think was his name and one daughter,Might have been Hilda not too clear on names though ,also maybe a granddaughter called Jean Shepherd The family were last heard of living in Cleveleys, Lancs, when Joe was retired, He was a widoweder then, and may have had a son and daughter in law (or daughter) living with him. My mother used to visit as a child in the late 40's,with her mother Winifred, Joe was my mother's Gt. uncle and Winifred's uncle if any of you shepherds out there think any of this sounds familiar please get in touch.
