I am looking for anyone who may have a connection with Blanche Violet TRICE nee BAKER from Portsmouth. She died in 1993 at the grand old age of 102! She was married and had three children all girls, I dont know what happened to my great-grandma's husband WILLIAM GEORGE TRICE after the marriage broke up? My nan is 84 and would love to know what happened to her father. He would have been born around 1892 and married Blanche Violet Baker in 1915. Did he re marry, are there any half brothers or sisters? My Nan was the youngest of three girls, my nan was born 1922 and we think her father William George Baker left about 1934 give or take a year. Last Known address 42 Elm Road, Mile End, Portsmouth. He was a Sergeant Major in the army, based in Colchester, Essex. But I only found out today my Nan last saw her Dad at waterloo station London when my Dad was born which would have been about 1946 so we know he was alive then. He disappeared again and was last known working in a pub in Hertfordshire. Thats all we know, Thanks for you help William would be my Great Grandfather Any information please Julie |
