I dont have much to go on because my grandmother HILDA IRIS nee SPIRES did not keep in contact with her family from about the age of 14 roughly 1920,s. she was one of 3/4 sisters who came from Gloucestershire and her family were quite well to do in the area where she lived. He mother died of sun stroke when she was quite young. Hilda went into service against her fathers wishes- so she said- and that is why she was estranged from her family. DOES ANY OF THIS RING ANY BELLS WITH YOUR FAMILY TREE. As no one has ever met anyone from this side of the family and Hilda has now passed away we would love to have in info. Many Thanks Lesa |
