I am trying to find out anything about this elusive lot! Specifically, anything about Thomas Almond, baptised at Clandown, in Somerset, in 1879, and by the 1901 census working as a miner in the Rhondda coalfield. Family lore hs it that he ended up in the Brighton area and that the police force figures somewhere in the story. Any pointrs gratefully received! |
