Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 4 Send Message	William Sillars b. abt 1835 in Riccarton, Ayr, Scotland married Mary Duncan b. abt 1841 from Montrose, Forfar, Scotland. They had 6 children that I know of, Matthew (1879), Isza (1880), Jane (1870), Mary (1874), Maggie (1876) and Elizabeth (1871). My g.grandfather was Matthew. He married Mary Catherine Lynch. She was born in Australia. They married in Lyttelton, New Zealand. I am not sure at what stage of his life Matthew moved to NZ or where/how he met Mary Catherine Lynch.
