Trying to find Dumbleton

I am trying to find any offspring of Nellie Dumbleton who is my maternal grandmother. When she had my mother in 1911 at Mare Street London she was unmarried and I believe about 16. I never met her but my Aunt told me that she married a few years later and had 2/3 more children and died before the second world war. I think she was a servant in a house in London, my mother was fostered by Mrs Emily Scott I think this was arranged through a local church. I know so little about her that it would be wonderful if anyone can make that connection! I now believe that Nellie married Arthur French in or around 1914 and they had 2 or 3 children. There were 2 boys who may have served in ww2 - did they marry and have any offspring? Could that be your family? |
