Trying to find information about Samuel John Raphael my husbands grandfather, I know he married an elizabeth ruth walker in 1896 and they had 12 children whose names I know, but other than knowing he was born c1874 any trace of him before the 1901 seems to have vanished the oldies in the family have always believed that the family came to england sometime in the 1800,s from poland to avoid persicution any ideas where i might find out ? sandra Now have Marriage certificate, his father was joseph born in mile end hers was henry walker also london, still cant find them anywhere else help!!! UPDATE now knoww Josephs parents were Samuel raphael and sarah franc(K)s possibly from germany any takers? |
