I am trying to locate any living relatives of my late Grandfather Norman Yates, in particular Nellie Tranter (nee Yates) who was his sister and she emmigrated to Ontario, Canada in the 1950's but this is just a guess. She had a daughter called 'Madge' and they had emmigrated to Canada before Nellie. Madge had something to do with owning or running a petrol station. Any one knowing the whereabouts of any relatives please let me know. Just to add that Nellie used to run a fish and chip shop in Standish, near Wigan (UK) before leaving for Canada. Madge had 2 sons. Don't know any further details. Thanks Vicky Leyland |
