Trying to trace my grans (Amy-ann Matthews,maiden name Taylor) family. Amy Matthews died 03/03/1992, she was born in 1901. I think she was born in Butliegh Nr Glastonbury, but I think she also lived in Wales for a while when she was very young. Her mum had a shop for many years in Glastonbury high street (selling sweets and things like that). My great grans name was Beatrice Taylor. My gran had a younger brother (Albert) who died quite young?. My granddads name was Maurice Matthews, he worked at the gas works in Wells, I believe her died some where around 1949-1950 although I am not quite sure on this.I think my gran was related to the Nicholson's from Glastonbury. Would very much appreciate if any one can help with any information on my gran and gramps side of the family. Thank you. E-mail: [email protected] |
