Looking for my mothers family, she was born 23 May 1923 at Allhallowgate Ripon Yorkshire. Her name was Audrey (may have been baptised as Sissie, later making name change to Audrey ) her mother emigrated to Australia sometime in the 1950's. My mother married a Wynn Williams May have been from Pwllheli, but may have been born in Nyffin North Wales on 4 July 1940 in Southend-on-Sea Essex. I think she may have been an auxilary nurse at some time during WW2, I think she also worked as a domestic in a house in Essex. She had at least two sisters, both contest skaters, Bonnie and Joan, she may also have had a brother called Bill, also a half or step sister called Mable. |
