Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	I am trying to find relatives of my immediate Guest family who had a boating business in Halifax to Goole on the Aire & Calder navigation from 1870s to 1929, they lived around Padan St in Siddal, Halifax; in the 1900s!! names:- Samuel Guest,b1900, (my Gt Grandad), Lottie Maria Guest b1900, (nee Hales) my Gt Grandma, (died of childbirth 1926),Herbert Cass Guest b1903,Emma Guest b1872 then married Albert Farrar 1925,(my Gt Gt Grandma), John Thomas Guest b1872 in Goole, (my Gt Gt grandad), Irene Guest b1907ish,(my Gt aunt) who later married John Alfred Moorhouse,Samuel and James Guest, born Thorne, Yks, George Herbert Guest, b1925 in Halifax, , (my Grandad) and Edna May Guest,(nee rangeley), b 1925. I have lots of information and photos. Would love to hear from any Guests with family in Halifax, Thorne(yks), Doncaster area, & Goole to see if theres connection.
