I am wanting to find members of my fathers family. He was from Wantage in Berkshire, and as far as I am aware some of the family still live there. My fathers name is John William Gale but for some reason for the earlier part of his life he went by the name of Anthony John (this is the name that is registered on my birth cert.) He left home at 17 to do his national service and stayed in the army for 22 years, it was in the army he met my mother Margaret. My fathers birth date is 17.01.37. I hope that some family member may get this as I have never met any of my dads family and I believe that he was one of at least 12 siblings. |
