I am trying to find any information about my great grandmother EMILY FORD GOULD who married HENRY COOMBS on 13/11/1892 in BRISTOL. Children: Edith 1893, Albert 1896, May & Winifred (twins)1898, May 1900, Ellen & Tom (twins) 1905, Dorothy 1906, Jack 1909. In 1920 the family adopted a baby at 3 weeks old called TOPSY COOMBS, her mother died ?in childbirth (Doris May FORD/FORSE/FORBE) and was claimed and returned to father (REG) easter 1926. Any info on Emily ford Gould/Coombs and Topsy Coombs would be appreciated. Henry Coombs was a Master Tailor in Bristol and the shop existed until the 1970's. |
