I am looking for information on Mary Welsh c, 1839 somewhere in Ireland, daughter of Thomas {farmer}. She came to England sometime before 1859 when she married John Murphy in Bradford Yorkshire. At the time of her marriage Thomas was deceased. Mary and John were listed as living in the Doyle St area of Goole in 1871 and 1881 where all of their children were born. Their daughter Julia {my grandmother} married Thomas Gibbons in 1910 in St Thomas Goole. In 1891 Mary Murphy nee Welsh was listed as a widow living at Tees St Stockton with her children. She was still living there in 1901. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Regards Julia Robinson nee Gibbons |
