William Gray. Hi, my name is Bill Gray and I am trying to trace the surviving family of a William Ferrar Gray,born 6/11/1896, in Harthill, Lanarkshire. He died somewhere in Wales around 1970/1978?(maybe earlier) His fathers name was David Gray,mothers name Margaret Sneddon Gray nee Swanson (married 8/2/1895). The family was mostly brought up in Edinburgh. William Ferrar Gray had brothers and sisters named as following. Albert(Halbert), Mary, Alice, David and Joseph. His sister Mary had emigrated to Australia in 1920. I am led to believe the daughter of William Ferrar Gray came to Edinburgh early/mid 1970s to seek out my Grandfather Albert Gray, her surname may have been Keogh. My Uncle Joey (Joseph) visited the family but we could not find an address after his death in 1991. Please help. Trying to complete section of family tree. |
