Trying to find any relatives from this line. My grandmother was Daisy Downey, the youngest in a family of 13 living in Newhaven, East Sussex. She lived from about 1898 to 1971, and in the early 1900's her mother Louisa took her to Canada - Montreal where they stayed for a few years. She had a sister Emily who lived in Swan River (who had a daughter Margie), and a brother Fred who married somebody called Freda I think. Please contact me if you think you might be a distant relative. I think there must be very many second and third cousins around, who have descended from this large family. |
