Trying to find Collier

I am trying to find information on my Grandfather John Dickson Collier, born in 1890, he lived in St Vincent Street, Glasgow. He did have brothers and sisters but as he was in his late 50's when he had his only daughter we have no further family history about him. He married Mary Travers and had one daughter Jean Margaret Collier. He was an ambulance driver during WW1 in North Africa and often drove Lord Allenby and occasionally Lawrence of Arabia. He died in 1970 before my 2nd birthday and I am desperate to find out about him and any remaining family members my mother may have.
