Their parents were David McFarlane and Christina mcNeill, married in 1891 in St.Andrew's halls in Glasgow. His grandparents were David mcFarlane and Mary Black. This couple were married in Melbourne Australia in 1854 and returned to Glasgow with 3 young children:Mary,Colin and Robert. They had 2 more boys in Glasgow,David and James. Their parents were Colin McFarlane and Janet Russell who married in 1824 in Glasgow. |
