MY LATE FATHER JOHN HOPKINS WAS BORN IN 1905 IN THE MANCHESTER/SALFORD AREA.HE WAS THE FOURTH OFF FIVE CHILDREN, HIS FATHER WAS ALSO NAMED JOHN. HIS MOTHER DIED WHEN MY FATHER WAS 3 YEARS OLD,HER NAME WAS MARGARET KELLY. THE ELDEST CHILD WAS ELLEN[NELLIE]THEN THOMAS AND HAROLD,THE YOUNGEST BEING VINCENT WHO DIED IN THE 1950'S, I REMEMBER VINCENT HAD THREE OR FOUR DAUGTHERS THE ELDEST WAS NAMED JOAN AND SHE STAYED WITH US FROM TIME TO TIME AT OUR FLAT ON REGENT RD, SALFORD. MY MOTHERS NAME WAS ADA AND I HAVE A SISTER BETTY AND TWO BROTHERS THOMAS AND JOHN.CAN ANY ONE HELP TO TRACE MY FATHER'S SIDE OF THE FAMILY |
