Looking for information about the Goddard family from the Manchester area. John - born c.1858 (father) Ann - born c.1863 (mother - maiden name not known) John - born c.1985 James - born c.1887 Arthur - born c.1891 Albert - born c.1895 Frederick - born c.1896 Ada - born c. 1898 Address at time of 1901 Census was Charlton Avenue Civil Parish - Eccles Ecclesiastical Parish - Patricroft Nothing known about the brothers John, James and Arthur. # Fred's first wife's maiden name was Peel. They lived at Cavendish Street(?) off Bridge Street, Pendlebury and had a daughter Eleanor. Fred's wife died (during childbirth or shortly after) and he subsequently married Ann Foster (Bridge Street) and moved to First Avenue, Swinton, when these houses were built (1920s) - no children from the second marriage. Eleanor had a son, Peter (my husband). # Albert married Alice and they lived at the top of Hospital Road, Pendlebury. No children. # Ada married Charles Driver and they lived at Trevor Road, Swinton. No children. Any information appreciated. |
