My maiden name was Parnell, and I would like to hear from anyone who thinks they might be related. My parents were (Sydney) John Parnell (1910-1976) and Dorothy Joan Mayo (1913-1976) who married in Blockley (Glos) in 1941. My grandparents were Herbert Parnell (1876-1958) and Mary Jane Marsh (1876-1953). They married in Owermoigne (Dorset) and later moved to Badsey near Evesham (Worcs). They had 9 children: Flora, Herbert, Charles, Lilian, Kathleen, Sydney John (my dad), George, Dorothy and Robert. My great-grandparents were Henry Charles Parnell (1840-1897) and Elizabeth Ann Palmer, who lived in Chaldon Herring, Dorset. My great-great-grandparents were John Parnell (1807-1877) and Anne Meech, who lived in Butterwick, Dorset. I would like to hear from anyone who may be related or who knows any info about my family. |
