I should like to make contact with any other descendants of William and Eleanor Routledge. William was born in Port Carlisle, Cumberland in c.1839 and Eleanor was born Eleanor Graham in Newcastle on Tyne also c.1839. They married in Liverpool on 18/01/1865 at the Congregational Chapel, Burlington Street, Liverpool. They had at least 4 children - William Jnr., Annie, Eleanor Isabella (my grandmother) and Walter. 1891 census shows them living at 23, Hunt Street, Everton with Eleanor Isabella still living at home aged 13 and the 1901 census shows them still living at Hunt Street but with Eleanor Isabella absent. I lose track of her until 1914 when she married my grandfather Abraham MOSES in Kings Norton, Birmingham and sometime between then and 1921 when they re-appear in Vicarage Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, they change their name to MOSELEY. Can anyone help fill in the gaps please? Mike Moseley |
