Trying to find Stephens

My mother has been trying to trace her family tree for some time and I have just joined this site in an effort to help her!. We have traced back to my Great Great Great Grandparents , Benjamin Stephens born East Peckham, Kent 1828 , married to Jane Bird born (possibly in Harrietsham) in 1827. They had children Emily(b 1851) , George (b 1852) , Mary (b 1853), Eliza (b 1855) Richard (b 1856) , John (b 1858), Norah (b 1859). All the children were living with their parents at the time of the 1861 census. Any info on any known ancestors of Benjamin Stephens would be much appreciated ! All of the children were born in East Peckham and Emily married into the Diprose family (who also lived in East Peckham for most of their lives) - Anne Diprose (b 1872) being my great grandmother |
