I am trying to find anyone who knows/knew of a young girl surname Basham who gave birth to a baby boy in York in 1926. The girl had been working in Gainsborough at a hotel called Cleveland House but she returned to York for the birth. The boy was adopted by a Gainsborough couple called Charles and Ellen Marsh. The baby boy was my father James Albert Marsh. |
