Their son Herbert Hylton Symonds (b.1911) was my grandfather. Henry William Symonds and Marion Bird (unsure about the spelling of Marion) also had the following children; - Gertrude R Symonds - Olive Symonds - Leslie Symonds - Norman Symonds - Henry Symonds - Nelson Symonds - Arthur Symonds Although I currently have no evidence, I believe Henry William Symonds was born in Lowestoft.
