I am trying to find anyone with the surname Chilla. My father was Polish and went to the UK to fight with the Polish Army after escaping from Poland. I believe that the spelling of the name was changed from Chyla. He met my mother who was born Frances Alexanderina Fraser in 1909 and married Andrew Weir, they subsequently divorced before she met my father. I have searched phone books all over the world but have never found anyone with my surname. |
