Elaine Pass - I am trying to find the mother of Thomas Pass, born 1819 in Horton/Biddulph. Thomas married Hannah Shufflebottom in 1839 in Biddulph. Certificate states that Thomas was the illegitimate son of Ambrose Hulme. Thomas's son, James b1839, married Hannah Beech in 1862 (then Emily Ash in 1901). Their son Esau, known as Abraham, b1866, married Hannah Ash in 1898. Their son, John Thomas Pass, b1895, who married Annie Brookes in 1916, is my husband's grandfather. Can anyone identify Thomas's mother? Any help would be gratefully received. I have various certificates that I am willing to share. Many thanks. |
