Hi! im searching for any information in connection with the name Elton-Walters from Brading on the ISLE OF WHITE my Grandfather was Joseph Elton Walters c1900 my Grandmother was Lucy(louise margaret Wetherick they lived at no8 broadstone cresent brading,im led to believe that the name Elton could have been my grandfathers middle name carried through to a double barrelled sir name,I know of most names of relatives on the island maybe i should visit more often,but i do believe that my grandfather originated from lancashire,also that my mother had strong links with Brading church as a child and my uncle Brian was Mayor of Brading around 1990 he also owned the newsagents/post office in the village he was married to may,they lived at no6 west street brading isle of white,please contact if you wish regarding anything,any information gratfully recieved,thanks Graham. |
