John MURRAY born 1780 Cottonshope, Elsdon, Northumberland marries Susanna ROBSON born 1792 Alwinton, Northumberland (abt 1817). They have Ann (1818 - Elsdon), Isabella (1819 - Elsdon), William (1825 - ? Scotland), Margaret (1827 - ? Scotland), Adam (1829 - ? Scotland), James Patterson (1831 - ? Scotland), Mary Ann (1832 - Hownam, Scotland), John (1835 - Hownam, Scotland) and Selby (1837 - Hownam, Scotland). James Patterson marries Margaret DUNN (1831 Elsdon) in 1855 at Horsley Chapel, Elsdon. They have at least 9 children in and around the Elsdon/Bellingham area. Thomas MURRAY (6th child - 1866 - Chirdon) marries Hannah YOUNG (1872 - Morpeth) 1889 Bolam, Northumberland. Thomas and Hannah's 4th son William (1898 Heworth, Co Durham) marries Mary Main (1898 - Cramlington, Northumberland)) in Ashington, Northumberland 1921. They are my grandparents.
