Trying to find long lost relations of the HOADLEY family, particularly in Australia. We think there was a PERCY HOADLEY in Australia. My father's mother's name on his birth certificate (1910) is FRANCES ANNIE HOADLEY but his father's name was noted as "unknown". It is possible that Frances Annie's surname was not actually Hoadley as unmarried mothers were allowed to use the father's name in those days ! Sandra Mann (nee Hoadley) |
