Trying to find Woodward

My late grandfather was Lawrence "Dai" Woodward. Born 5 July 1918, wales. Not sure of actual birthplace. Father John, mother blodwyn. No brothers or sisters, but had a cousin (said to be half brother) called Viv (male). Viv played football for fulham, in 1950's. Dai played football for Wolves, Walsaw and lastly Bournemouth. Dai moved down south, married Joan (nee Bunyan) and had a son Keith (my father) born feb 1952. Dai played for bournemouth in the 1950's, later turning to coach the team upon his retirement and lived in bournemouth till his death in Dec 1997 from Alzhiemers Disease. The history is a little sketchy, but unfortunately we have nothing more to go on. We live in Poole, Dorset. I am generally looking to hear from anyone who has perhaps has links to this family tree. |
