DYER Am trying to find relatives from my grandmothers side, her father Arthur Anthony Dyer born 4th March circ 1890 died April 8th 1972 lived with Eva Badcock who took his name but never married (born Nov 10th circa 1890 died Nov 1963 Clapham Common) they had 5 children Bernard, Arthur, Joyce, Marjorie, Doris. Bernard had 2 sons Michael and David and lived we believe Devon way. Arthur married but had no children and died shortly after Mary his wife in 1972. Joyce my grandmother married in 1942 Reading to Raymond Beasley they had 5 children. Marjorie married we believe a German farmer and went to Germany to live (no children). Doris married and lived in Kent she had 3 children. Arthur Dyer also had a brother Alfred Dyer and a sister who died at the age of 21 his parents were Alfred Dyer who was a Master carpenter and his mother Mary Taylor was a ballet dancer, seamstress. Arthur Dyer traded under the name of Dr Richard Taylor, Chemist and my greatgrandmother Eva Badcock had 2 sisters May and Elise (Peacock) who had a daughter Joyce. If anyone recognises any of these names would love to hear from you. |
