Could anyone please help me to find the birth of my g.g grandmother (paternal) Emily Ellen Mackenzie married to Frank Edward Peacock on 1/1/1893 in Gillingham, Kent. Her fathers name on the marriage Cert. is Hector (deceased) and address at that time 45 Trafalgar Street, Gillingham. I have an 1881 census from IGI, with Emily's mother as a Mary Ann Mackenzie plus various siblings, one being called Hector D. and also sisters Priscilla and Lucy Gertrude. Emily later went on to have daughters herself, one being called Priscilla Gertrude. This census shows her as being aged 7 in 1881 and a birthplace of Aldershot. This estimates her birth year around 1874 but I have searched in vain at the FRC from 1870 to 1875 and all I have come up with is an Ellen Mackenzie born in Medway December quarter of 1871. If anyone could help with this of other members of the same family it would be greatly appreciated.
