Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 3 Send Message	My grandfather was George Mortimer Crabbe, born at Elkaduwa, Matale, Ceylon on the 30th May 1870. He died on 15th September 1931 at Arcadia, his home at Diyatalawa, Ceylon. His father was John Crabbe and his mother Emily Jane (nee Thompson) and they married on 13th March 1864. I would like to know more about George's grandfather, another John. I am also trying to establish whether there is any link back to the poet, George Crabbe (born 24.12.1754, died 3.2.1832)
