Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to find anything about my Maternal Grandmother Alice Holgate, Her mother Sarah HARDY was born in 1857 and I have a marriage certificate for her and a George Holgate married at Bethnal Green in 1877. Also the marriage was witnessed by an Elizabeth Hardy,but my grandmother Alice was born in Edmonton workhouse in 1882 with no named father on birth certificate. Sarah Hardys' father was John Hardy and George Holgates father was Joseph Holgate.
