I am searching for ancestors of my father Leslie Raeburn Dixon of North Shields, North Tyneside. My father was one of many brothers including Alan(living) Ormston, George, Wilfie and Billy (all deceased) and he had one sister Vera (living. Dad was a trawlerman and prior to that in the Navy.His mother was Margaret Annie Hodgson and his father George Raeburn Dixon. Both died prior to my father marrying my mother Margaret Treloar Marshall in 1951 My father's grandfather was a foy boatman. He was I think William Dixon and he married Hannah Rawlings in North Shields. I would love to learn more about my family so if you can help I would be most grateful. Ann (Margaret Ann Dixon) |
