Hello to all of the DYER'S in the UK and elsewhere. I am Richard L. Dyer a native of California,USA I am a Widower, my wife having died ten years ago this May. I have traveled to England in the years of 2000 and 2002. My Great Grandfather William Collins Dyer, was born in Devon 7 Feb 1829. Married ann Husbands from Wales on the 28 Feb 1854. They had four children in England, then came to America in the 1860s, settling in the State of Utah. William was born in Berrynarbor. His father and Mother in Ilfracombe. I visited both places in Oct 2000, and found a little more info. about them. I have a DYER book that I purchased about ten years ago with approx. 2700 DYER names and addresses. |
