My name is Christopher Hallas and I'm undertaking a family history project with my brothers and sisters. Our father was Stanley Hallas, born in Bradford in 1905. We have quite a lot of information on the family of our grandmother, Ethel Alderson (provided by an "expert" in the family) but we're trying to gather more information on the family of our grandfather, Edward Irvine Hallas. His father was also an Edward Hallas, who was born in Halifax (Stainland) in 1847 and who was married firstly to Sarah and secondly to Hannah. His father was Martin Hallas. I'm hoping other people with the same family history interests can help us. |
