ALFRED LUMB Alfred Lumb was my great grandfather. He was born c1847 at Churwell York . His wife was called Jane and they had eleven children ( at the last count) At Flanshaw/Ossett, Wakefield. David, John (my grandfather) Annice, Henry, Sarah Ann, Mary Ann,Mary Emma, Joseph,Eliza,William, and Lydia. By the 1891 census David had married Elina and they had three children, Bertha, Alfred and Agnes. My Grandfather John had married Esther but they didn't have children until 1907 Lily, and 1909 Ivy.Again Ossett Wakefield. Esther died and my grandfather then married my grandmother Beatrice Ethel Beevers Richards and they had four children. Beatrice, Gertrude, Jack & Violet. Where have all these Lumbs gone? |
