Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 30 Send Message	My great grandfather was Charles Henry Ockenden born 17 June 1859 Hooe, Sussex. His parents were Robert William Ockenden (1839-1923) & Jane Martin (1834) His sibblings were George (?) 1868-1957, Alfric abt 1873 & Elizabeth 1876 - 1901. His Grandparents were Thomas Ockenden (1805-1876) & Jane Blackman (abt 1806) - who's other children were Thomas John 1832-1896 Richard 1838 Robert - as above Ellen 1840 Jane 1844. I would love to hear from any other Ockenden families world wide, but esspecially any Sussex based Ockenden's. I have discovered that my family orginates from Richard Ockenden (abt 1744-1794) & Mary RUSSELL (abt 1744), via John Ockenden (1764-1841) & Constant ELPHICK, who were the parents of Thomas Ockenden.
